Charles Clifford Dental Hospital

This £2.6 million improvement project consisted of reconfiguring specific areas of the hospital to rationalise and replace many treatment areas and improve public reception areas.

The original 1950’s heavyweight raised floor was contaminated with Asbestos and needed to be removed.  It was replaced with new, lightweight, accessible flooring systems. Existing specialist services were isolated, re-configured and re-supplied, together with the installation of new fixtures and equipment. Major new plant items were also installed at roof and basement levels to replace and complement the existing facilities.

The work was carried out in 15 interconnected phases allowing the Hospital to continue functioning fully in adjacent areas.
