New Mills Medical Centre

This two storey medical centre was built on the site of the old library in the centre of the Peak District village of New Mills.

The building was constructed using ECO friendly materials and construction methods and includes a living green sedum roof.

Internally, the structure houses consulting rooms, pharmacy department, chemist retail unit, kitchen, bathooms, nursing stations and reception areas as well as facilities for minor surgical operations.

The contract was completed under the Design and Build form of procurement and was completed in just 35 weeks.
